My culinary journey began in Malaysia, where I developed a passion for cooking from a young age. From Singapore to Budapest, and now London, I’ve spent 20 years honing my skills in diverse kitchens, blending Persian traditions with global flavors. Chef Javad serves truly authentic Persian food, flavourful, fresh, and genuinely tasty. Portion sizes were spot on. Prices are a little high, but the quality absolutely warrants it. Lovely atmosphere and exceptionally friendly, kind staff. Highly recommended, one of the best Persian restaurants I’ve tried.

A stunning Persian dining experience thanks to Chef Javad and his great team, we went there for a dinne, our wonder servers Mr.Amir & Ms.Elnaz made this evening unforgettable, specially Mr.Amir was so welcoming , attentive and extremely professional in his role, he patiently explained everything about any food my daughter asked about , you could see his passion in his words , he tried to change and combine all the special demands that my daughter asked from the food menu.
The starters; kazoo badenjan & mast o khiar were really tasty & amazing and our main ; Joojeh torsh & kebabs makhsous were amazing , the design of the dishes was gorgeous & unique ,the food portions was generous, the taste was perfect ,really tasty & full of flavour , you could smell love and creativity from each bite. Our dessert; saffron ice cream was wonderful in taste and design.
The atmosphere was elegant & chic, with nice person decorative style , the colours were nice and made it cosy & warm, the musician played beautifully Persian old songs with piano and made the tasty moments even sweeter.
Thanks to Amir & Elnaz, and all the team, we had a perfect Persian night in Chef Javad restaurant, we recommend it to everyone who wants to have a stunning authentic experience with high standards of food & hospitality , but don’t forget to make a reservation in advance, there is a little chance to get a table without reservations.

I had an incredible experience at Chef Javad Persian Cuisine & Bar! The food was absolutely amazing—full of authentic flavors and beautifully presented. The desserts were simply out of this world; a perfect balance of sweetness and richness that left me craving more. The service was exceptional; the staff was friendly, attentive, and genuinely passionate about making sure every guest has a memorable meal. Absolutely Exceptional Experience!
From start to finish, our evening was amazing thanks to Chef Javad and our wonderful server AmirHossein. Chef Javad’s dishes were not only beautifully presented but bursting with flavor, you can truly taste the passion and creativity in every bite. Each course was perfectly balanced, and you could tell he puts great care into every detail.

AmirHossein made our dining experience even more special. He was attentive, friendly, and professional, anticipating what we needed before we even asked. His warm personality and knowledge of the menu made us feel right at home.

Together, they created an unforgettable dining experience, the kind that makes you want to come back again and again. Highly recommend!

We came here to celebrate my partner’s birthday, and the team went above and beyond to make the evening truly special. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely kind — they even surprised us with a birthday cake and candles, which was such a lovely touch!

The food was absolutely outstanding — beautifully presented, full of flavour, and with excellent vegetarian options too. Every dish tasted fresh and authentic, and the portions were generous without feeling heavy.

The atmosphere was cosy yet elegant, and we never felt rushed despite it being busy. It’s clear the team take real pride in what they do, and their hospitality made the whole evening feel personal and memorable.

We left with full hearts (and even fuller stomachs!). Can’t recommend this place enough — whether for a special occasion or just a fantastic Persian meal, it’s a gem.

The food was perfect!!! If it was in Iran, I surely would've rated it among the five and I'm a restaurant person! We had the "special shishlik" and "Baghali Polo ba Mahicheh 😁" (mentioning these in Persian so you'd know what to call them! The atmosphere was good too but we didnt have a reservation so we got the table next to the window! The "Dough" and the "shallot yogurt with bread" which is a must have! We had the soup too which I don't need to say it again!

Great food and really good service. Portions were good size and quality was excellent.

One star off as I couldn't use AMEX dispite one of our diners used an AMEX just before me....the sight if my card and I was told they don't take it. If it's the card fees I'm happy to cover them (tip was left on top of service)

The best Persian restaurant in London. It is very busy during dinner service so book in advance either online or phone. We ordered a mix grill platter for 4 and it’s plentiful, comes with a side of rice or chips. The meat is very tender and succulent, especially the lamb chops, and the Tahdig to the rice adds a nice authentic touch. We love adding the sumac to the meat! My favourite starter was the eggplant dip with the homemade bread. Service is always very polite and attentive.

The food was amazing! Staff are very welcoming and friendly. It’s dog-friendly indoors and outdoors!!! I’d definitely recommend coming here. Their cheesecake is one of the best ones I’ve ever had.

My wife and I went to this beautiful and tastefully designed restaurant for the first time, and we were truly impressed. The service was excellent, with professional and pleasant staff, led by a very capable and professional manager. The food was outstanding in both flavour and quality. For the starter, we had Kashk-e Bademjan, which was fresh and delicious, and for the main course, we ordered Koobideh Kebab – honestly the best I’ve had in London. I would definitely recommend this place and will certainly be returning.

From the moment we walked in, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Chef Javad and his incredible team went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and cared for. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely kind—always checking in without being intrusive, making sure every detail was perfect.

And then came the food. The presentation was stunning, and the flavors were even better—each kebab was perfectly seasoned and grilled, the rice fluffy and fragrant, the herbs and sides fresh and vibrant. Every bite spoke of Chef Javad’s skill and passion for his craft.

This is the best meal we’ve had in London! Everything was delicious (not to mention so colorful and simply gorgeous) and together with the heartfelt hospitality it was an all-around tremendous meal. (My hungry and tired young daughter was having a hard time after a long day and they very sweetly made her a pink lemonade to make her feel extra welcome.) I am hoping to squeeze in a return visit before we have to leave! *reservations recommended*

Great place for Iranian dishes. We tried Mirza Ghasemi and Kashke Bademjan for starter, lamb shank and Soltani kebap for main dishes. All was amazing.
The special dessert was not impressive, the toppings were lovely though.
Staff were very friendly and nice.
The vibe is very cosy. Would come again to try more stuff.

Today my husband and I stumbled upon Chef Javad Persian Cuisine & Bar for lunch — and what a delightful experience it turned out to be! As usual, we each ordered a main dish, but we were genuinely surprised when the food arrived. The plates were enormous and filled with a beautiful variety of flavours and textures.

The meat was absolutely outstanding — incredibly tender, perfectly seasoned, and not spicy at all. It fell off the bone effortlessly. The grilled vegetables and fragrant rice complemented the dish perfectly.

The service was attentive yet discreet, and the soft background music added a calm and romantic touch to the atmosphere. We were thoroughly impressed and left feeling happy and full.

We’ll definitely be coming back with friends and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for delicious Persian cuisine and a warm, inviting ambiance👍

We have tried Chef Javad restaurant today for the first time. The kebabs are perfectly grilled, the stews are deeply flavorful, and the saffron rice is fragrant and fluffy. Authentic Iranian Cuisine in the Heart of London
I recently had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic Iranian restaurant, and it was truly a delightful experience. The food was incredibly fresh and full of traditional Persian flavors. The kebabs were juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned , definitely some of the best I’ve had in London!

Prices were very reasonable, offering great value for such high-quality dishes. On top of that, the staff were warm, welcoming, and made us feel right at home. If you’re looking for an authentic taste of Iran with top-notch service, this place is a must-visit.

Absolutely amazing experience at Chef Javad!
Today, I went with three of my friends, and we were all blown away. The food was incredible — hands down the most authentic Iranian flavors we’ve had since coming to London. Every bite took us straight back home.

If you’re looking for a stylish place with a calm, friendly atmosphere and truly traditional Persian cuisine, this spot is a must-visit.
Highly, highly recommend it — Chef Javad knows what he’s doing!

This place is an absolute gem: gorgeous, subtly-glamourous decor; talented pianist, warm & attentive service; easy accommodations for the vegetarians in our group, beautifully-presented and delicious food - wow! Our big party of 12 was so satisfied and well taken cared of. Thank you to the staff, chef, and pianist for a truly wonderful evening!

The atmosphere was truly heartwarming — the live piano made it even more special. The staff were incredibly friendly, and the food was served surprisingly fast. The portions were generous, and the Iranian rice was perfectly cooked and full of flavor, which really matters to me. The bread was fresh, warm, and absolutely delicious. The food quality was perfect, and the grilled dishes were amazing — full of taste and cooked just right. I’ll definitely be coming back! So far, this has been the best Iranian restaurant I’ve tried in London.

My husband been there before and he didn't like the qulity, recently we go there for a lunch and i fall in love with their taste and qulity even my husband admitted their qulity is truly in deffernt league compare to before.

I love how repsecptful and supportive their staff was specifically behzad which become firend with my husband.
